howzit, my name is Javen!

Photography has been part of my story for much longer than most people realize. It all started in 7th grade when I borrowed my mom's Sony a6000 and began taking photos of just about anything I could find! Back then, it was simply a creative outlet—a way to explore, create, and document the world around me. It wasn't until high school, however, that photography started becoming something more. After plenty of encouragement from my girlfriend, I decided to take it seriously and put myself out there. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, and eventually into the business that has allowed me to meet incredible people and document some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.



Aside from being a full-time student (Go Noles!) and making photography far too much of my personality, I'm actually somewhat interesting!

When I'm not behind a camera, you can usually find me in the gym, cooking something new, sketching, traveling, or spending time with the people who matter most to me. I love God, my girlfriend, my family, and my friends, and they're the reason I continue to grow—not only as a photographer, but as a person. They're my biggest supporters, my toughest critics, and the people who constantly inspire me to be better every day.

Looking back, I'm incredibly grateful she gave me that push—because without it, there's a good chance none of this would exist!
